Leonard Santos is
an NYC-based educator, administrator, theatre producer, and practitioner in digital media, technology, and data studies.
He currently works as the Media Lab Administrator and an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Department of Media, Culture, and Communication. From higher education to public relations to tech, Leonard has a wide range of experiences that inform his work and skills.
ACADEMICS
Leonard earned his B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communication (MCC) from NYU with a double minor in Web Applications & Programming and Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Afterwards, he received his M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU while working as a Master in Residence at Weber Shandwick. Currently, Leonard’s in the process of obtaining his second master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate Center for an M.S. in Data Analysis and Visualization with an Advanced Certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. His research focus is in digital critical making, data analysis, and queer advocacy.

Making art in NYC
Beyond his career and his studies, Leonard works as an independent theatre producer for new and emerging artists and has put on shows at NYC staples like The Tank, the Broadway Comedy Club, and the Chain Theatre. FUN FACTS
For fun, Leonard is an avid Game Master and player in Dungeons & Dragons, writer and organizer of Murder Mystery Parties, and a member of multiple fiction book clubs.
