About me.
Leonard Santos (he/him) is an NYC-based educator, administrator, and practitioner in digital media, technology, and data studies. He currently works as the Media Lab Administrator and an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Department of Media, Culture, and Communication. From higher education to public relations to tech, Leonard has a wide range of experiences that inform his work and skills.
Leonard is also in the process of obtaining his second master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate Center for an M.S. in Data Analysis and Visualization with an Advanced Certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. Previously, he graduated from NYU with a B.S. and M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication. His research focus is in digital critical making, suicide prevention for LGBTQIA+ youth, and queer advocacy.
Beyond his career and his studies, Leonard works as an independent theatre producer for new and emerging artists and has put on shows at NYC staples like The Tank and the Broadway Comedy Club.
